Dali, Miro, and Magritte are the gods of Surrealism.



Dali painted that.

The Persistence of Memory is perhaps one of the most known Surrealist paintings.

It's not supposed to make sense.

Go ahead and decipher it.

Son of Man was painted by Magritte.
"Magritte is best known for his juxtaposition of ordinary objects in unusual context and for giving familiar objects new translations."

I think Magritte is trying to convey that the fruit that first tempted man still tempts us today.

Miro draws strange things.

I find it fascinating.

Last year in May, I visited New York (my sister worked there). I went to the Museum of Modern Art, and I'd say it was pretty cool. One really hardcore exhibit was this MASSIVE wall of drawings.

Interesting, no?
