Hairy Potty and the 1/4 Bloody Princess

Waves of complaints from the book fans shall always accompany every HP movie that comes out. But let us take pity and respect on the screenwriters or whatever who try to cram as many of the hundreds of pages into a mere 150 mins as possible.
For the 6th movie, however, I must say that I'm disappointed in their attempts to do so. For SOME REASON, Half-Blood Prince seemed to focus largely on HP, Ron, and Hermione's love life. Of course, there was the Horcrux ordeal and Draco going to the dark side and whatnot, but my impression was that they kinda screwed up the plot into an exaggeratingly shallow film. As for compliments, the actors and beautiful scenery and cinematography are superior, as always. The most vivid scene of the movie for me, was when Radcliffe imitated the pinchers of a spider (It was hilarious! He was on drugs!). It was probably the only seriously funny bit in the entire movie, except maybe when Dumbledore died in slo-mo. I had a sudden urge to burst out giggling right then, but held myself back because the surrounding fellow movie-goers prolly already hated me (I laughed. A lot). However disappointing books-adapted-into-movies may be, HP is a series that I won't drop, simply because I have so much faith in the books. It's also interesting to see how the movie-makers interpret the storyline, because when you read the actual book, you'll have to rely on your imagination to provide the imagery for you.

Well, I thought it was quite well made, except for the fact that instead of being an actual movie, it was a bunch of scenes filmed out of the book.

Also, terrible exposition. Eric leaned over and asked me what was going on more than once.

The books are alright...but overrated. The thing is, in the series it started to be annoying how Harry was so lucky, how he always got away with his life, how the end is always basically the same, etc. And Harry is a really obnoxious, cocky character...

Obnoxious and cocky?
Yes, but you have to admire him for his heroism. and luck.

If it was me in his situation, I'd have stolen away to Australia with like the Granger parents or whatever and become some hobbit living in constant fear and anxiety with only a violin for support.

I wouldn't say hobbit.

I would say little worm, hiding from the rain, hiding from the sun, and hiding from the aboveground world, living in constant fear that the next day will be the day that its tiny, insignificant life ends when a higher being casts its damning judgement upon it, condemning the-

Yeah.

I didn't even bother to watch it. And considering your comments, I wont.
