The Democratic Convention kicked off with TED KENNEDY and MICHELLE OBAMA, which I didn't watch. Hillary's speech on Tuesday evening was powerful though, and I think it's just what Obama needed to pull sore Clinton voters back on the Dem. Ticket. Here's a quick sched.: Wednesday• Former President Bill Clinton• Sen. Joe Biden Thursday• Sen. Barack Obama• Former Vice President Al Gore. Of course, McCain has been sitting in his nasty little rat hole the whole time and constantly blasting Obama about this and that and approving nasty ratty campaign messages. Blech.
OBAMA FO YO MAMA!

The Olympics finally ended, and my sleeping schedule is finally back to norm. I've been practicing until like 11pm every night, and then cradling my sore arm until the next day watching gymnastics or swimming (W00t PHELPS). I will definitely be following the Olympics in 2012 as well.

I watched The Dark Knight!

FINALLY. I just loved how the script and action totally drew you into the characters. Heath Ledger, of course was disastrously good acting as a sadistic schizoprenic psychopath. Such a loss, though. Batman was pretty typical, though I do admire his toys. Mr. Dent was terrific in acting, and I must say, I don't blame him for going nuts at the end. If I looked like that, and lost my fiance, I'm pretty sure I would've ended up somewhat similiar. Overall, it was ...EPIC. If you didn't see it, then get yore arse off thee chair and go to AMC.

School next week! I'm pretty surprised that I'm actually looking forward to it, as my summer was fairly dull. Of course, I haven't been doing anything except for trying to violin well and run faster. Unfortunately, um, I've been phailing in both. My teacher's been pressing me to play more expressively, which I'm struggling with-plus my intonation, doublestops, bow control, and vibrato sucks. Gah. Piano is just as bad; I had to change classes from once a week to bi-weekly classes, since I can't catch up due to lengthy violin practicing. Of course, I'm still stuck with n00bish exercises and songs, and prolly will be for a while.

Geometry's fun. No, really. It's tons better than algebra. I HEART PROOFS.

Actually, Dent was offered skin grafts.

He refused, cause he wanted to live up to the name twoface.

and no matter how much you suck at violining, you're still the concert mistress of orchestra. that is, until someone better comes along.

nostalgia is a good thing, until it leads to depression.

-See what I mean when I said I didn't get it at first?

- Of course, being some first chair in middle school doesn't affect my violining. My teacher doesn't care. Julliard's not gonna give a ... beaver home.
