NAIMNAIMNAIMNAIM

Also, on an unrelated note, Cordero's given us an extra credit opportunity where we compare/contrast characters from Glee with characters from Wuthering Heights. Now, since I don't know anything about Glee except that some guy named Quinn is similar to Cathy...

TANYA, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, HALP?

LOLOLOL.

I don't know anything about Wuthering Heights so I don't think I'd be much help here...but it might help to know that Quinn's a girl?

http://glee.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters is your friend. but if you have any specific WH characters in mind & give me a description I can tell you who to read up on :>

Definitely helps o_o.

And I wouldn't know. Sparknotes teim:

Cathy: Cathy's nature, a combination of both her parents, is key to revising the past. Her wildness and willfulness lead her to Wuthering Heights and the problems and pitfalls related therein. Her constant loyalty, good nature, and perseverance, however, eventually restore order and love to the farmhouse, thwarting Heathcliff's plans for revenge.

^I think that's the right Cathy? There are two Cahterines so it's hard to tell. The other one is:

Often viewed as the epitome of the free spirit, Catherine is torn between two worlds. On one hand, she longs to be with Heathcliff, her soul mate: their life together, growing up and playing on the moors, represents the freedom and innocence of childhood. On the other, she recognizes what a marriage to Edgar can do for her socially, and she enjoys those things that Edgar can provide for her. Ultimately, she is self-absorbed and self-centered, and although she claims to love both Heathcliff and Edgar, she loves herself more, and this selfish love ends up hurting everyone who cares for her.

tl;dr, first one is a girl trying to fix/learn from the mistakes of her parents, second one is a selfish prick (like all the characters in this story), both are completely independent. Also, from what I know of the second one, she's always bubbly and happy.

hmm yeah I think you should go with Quinn for Cathy; ms.popular gets preggers in season 1 while cheating on her boyfriend & gets kicked out by her parents for awhile; social life is messed up so she's kind of outcast for awhile, so she joins the glee club; quite some positive character development...but after she has her baby most of that goes down the drain. and she cheats on another guy. kind of went on a spiel there, but the website will probably be more helpful.

and for catherine, you might want to go with Santana? she appears to be a bitch/self-centered but you later find out that she's trying to cover the fact that she's a closet lesbian & is in love with brittany, another girl who was on the cheerleading team with her. but she dates karofsky (who's also a closet gay) as a gay beard...

again, I'm pretty sure the site's better but I think with the sparknotes descriptions, you can find some pretty good compare/contrast with Quinn & Santana.
